Double Chicken Please describes The Coop as a place where familiar dishes are reinterpreted as cocktails through culinary techniques and design. Its Free Range concept takes a more playful, open-ended approach.

The useful idea is the movement between formats. A drink can carry a flavour memory without resembling the food that inspired it. That gives the maker a different starting point from simply choosing a base spirit.

Try the question at home before changing a recipe: what flavour, texture, or memory do I want to carry into this glass? Keep the experiment small enough to understand what changed.
